Today Microsoft released a Windows 10 update after fixing user data deletion
Today Microsoft will be releasing a Windows 10 update after allegations of user data deletion
Over the weekend some users who have tried the Windows 10 update (v1809) have reported that their data has been lost after the update. Microsoft has also confirmed this: "We have investigated all data loss, identified and corrected all issues encountered in the update on 10/10. "Said John Cable, director of program management for Windows Servicing and Delivery at Microsoft.
Microsoft has released the Windows Update 10 October 2018 for Windows Insiders, before launching a wider market for consumers. "We will study the results of the feedback carefully before releasing it widely," explains Cable.
