Tesla sued for tax evasion

Nevada State filed suit against Tesla earlier this week for not paying nearly $ 655,000 to the state's Compensation Fund. According to a report on liability, Tesla is owed the state of Nevada, according to which the car manufacturer did not pay enough for the first quarter of 2018 tax.
In a statement, Tesla's spokesman recently spoke out about the incident as a "typing mistake":
"Since Tesla's acquisition of SolarCity and the merger of our entire company, we have discussed with the states the new unemployment insurance premiums, typical of such acquisitions. The above allegations are the result of a "typo," and we processed this payment today. In the past 18 months, Tesla has paid more than $ 3.3 million in unemployment tax to Nevada. "
Tesla has suffered from a lot of pressure on sales in the past and is having troubles related to money this year, the situation is not showing signs of improvement. Tesla is expected to report quarterly earnings 3 in early November.
