“When we talk about culture, it’s often linked to the way an organisation is structured and operates, and what IT departments should be looking to avoid are cultures led by fear, punishment or blame,” she tells Computer Weekly.

 

“Organisational hierarchies that are very ‘command and control’ in nature are also to be avoided, because – what you are looking to create – is a culture where people can work with autonomy and purpose.”
